Tracks May Also Need Replacing

During a full service, we recommend inspecting the rubber tracks for stretching, cracking or excessive wear.

Depending on the age and condition of your cleaner, the tracks may also need replacing. Replacement tracks are sold separately.

Beware of Cheap Aftermarket Bearing Kits

There are inexpensive aftermarket service kits being sold online that may be described as OEM or equivalent-quality parts.

We have tested aftermarket alternatives and found examples using non-stainless-steel bearings. In a swimming pool environment, unsuitable bearings can rust and corrode prematurely, potentially causing the bearing to seize and placing additional strain on the cleaner's drive components and motors.

Corroding metal components may also introduce rust contamination into the cleaner and potentially contribute to rust staining around the pool.

For a machine that spends its working life underwater, bearing quality matters. We recommend using the correct high-quality components rather than risking an expensive motor repair to save a small amount on bearings.
