Rather than replacing just one worn bearing, brush or spindle, this kit allows you to service the complete active brush assembly at the same time, helping restore smooth brush operation and reduce unnecessary resistance on the cleaner's drive system.

Why Service the Complete Active Brush Assembly?

The active brush system operates continuously while your Dolphin is cleaning. Over time, the brush holder bearings, centre spindle and brushes can wear and create additional resistance.

Common symptoms of worn active brush components can include:

• Active brush becoming stiff or difficult to turn
• Cleaner starting and then stopping
• Grinding, squeaking or unusual noises
• Reduced scrubbing performance
• Poor movement around the pool
• Excessive resistance through the brush assembly
• Visible wear or damage to the brushes

Don't Ignore Seized Active Brush Bearings

The active brush holder bearings are a common wear point on these machines.

When a bearing begins to seize, the motor has to work harder to turn the brush. Continuing to operate the cleaner with a badly worn or seized bearing can place unnecessary load on the motor and drive system.

For this reason, we recommend replacing both active brush holders together, rather than replacing only the bearing that has completely failed.
